Hyrum, Utah Trip :)

Tara's Mom and Me. I love Diana so much! I have gotten to know her whenever she is in CA and whenever I am in Utah and we have so much fun together; this time was no exception. Tara's family is a total game family (much to my delight). I forgot to get pictures until the morning we left. On Saturday night we played Rook and Monoploy. Then watched an I Love Lucy episode where she is love struck by celebrities while in CA. Then I watched a cute movie with Sandra Dee in it (can't remember the name). Joe, Tara's stepdad is also such a nice guy and he totally beat us like no other in Monopoly. There was no way any of us could win.

Then on Sunday, we went to church (there were four baby blessings, thats when you know you are in Utah). Then Joe made a HUGE bowl of garlic popcorn and we snacked on that along with other yummy treats and played more games of Rook and I actually won (I had a score of 770 and I was a newbie to the game, they taught me well)! Then we watched, "The Christmas Card." Everyone loved it and we talked for awhile and then got ready for bed and watched Dial M for Murder.

The next morning we had to rush out of there due to an impending storm and quickly I was able to get these pictures. I loved this one of George Washington. They were so sweet to have Tara, Rishann (Tara's sister) and I for the weekend. Well, Rishann, left Sunday after Sacrement meeting so we missed her that night.

Tubing on the mountain and double dates in the Evening

Getting ready to go tubing!

Me in my gear!

Tubing is so much fun!! I loved this adventure and the company was awesome, we had such a great time. Tara and I got into a fun snowball competition! She was so strong, she dragged me around in my tube while we waited in line to go on the big mountain. It was great! We went as a threesome in almost all the rides. We got going and we were so fast, we had it perfected after four hours.

Tara'a fun hat hair!
One of the smaller lanes that was so great! We went so fast!

What a perfect adventure!
That night we went on double dates with our friend Heidi's cousins. It was great, they took us to a nice place for dinner in Salt Lake and a couple met us there for dinner. The day was really nice overall and enjoyable.

Snow and Cousins here I come!

On Wednesday, Dec. 31st I got off work and flew to Utah. Tara picked me up and we went back to her house and played Rock band! It was so much fun. I got a 100 percent (No one needs to know it was on the easy level! haha and the second time I played the same song on the guitar). I got good at the timing. Then we missed the ball dropping because her Dad's TV was to high tech for us! The next day we slept in and then Tara and I went over to my cousins house to spend time with them. It was such a great time seeing all them.

They are ALL tall! All these second cousins I spent time with in college have grown tremendously and I am now the shortest. Literally I am so short compared to all of them. They are all beautiful too! I love them all. We talked and went to the movies (all spliting up to see different movies we wanted to see). I did not want to use my free movie card because movies out there are so CHEAP! $5.50! Can you believe that!

Then we went back and had dinner of steak, potatoes and salad. Tara left before dinner to join her friends for a movie and I ended up spending the night to hang out with Abby, Lexie and Lani. We played with hair like old times and took pictures. I am so impressed with how Abby and Lexie have grown up. They are beautiful in everyway! I found out most of my cousins are on Facebook. I was so excited that I can keep in touch better with them now.

An exciting win!

Where I go to get Chiropractic care (where I did physical therapy), they had this drawing during Christmas that if you made your appointment you could win tickets. I ended up winning two tickets to the theater. I saved them and have yet to use them. Here is Fred (my friend there) holding up my win! Yeah for winning :)

December 27th and 28th, 2009

The rest of the trip! I am using my blog as a journal! :)
On saturday, after we we watched a couple of flip houses show; Robert, Lindsay and I went to the mall and got great deals shopping at West Town Mall (I used to work there). Then we meet up with John and my Dad and had lunch at Fazolis, a great pizza place out there. Then we went to the dollar theatre (Robert treated all of us) and we saw Eagle Eye! Great movie, kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time!!! I loved it, except for the parts where people died a gory death. Its intense and is so good.

Then we went and got John a haircut and while that was happening, Lindsay and I went to Bath and Body Works to look around. While there Robert gave Lindsay and I money for the Bath and Body works sale! Can you believe that! He is so generous. Then we went home and joined my parents and went to the Golden Corral on Clinton highway for dinner. It was a fun day and we watched The Family Man that night.
The next day; we all went to church together and it was so great to be surrounded by my family at church and to see my ward family that I grew up with it. It was so great, I love Tennessee so much. Its a part of my soul! :) Perfect trip in everyway. My Mom and I looked at my scrapbooks and talked that night and my Dad joined us. We had a great time.

December 26th 2008! So much fun!

On Friday December 26th The gals went to lunch as our tradition whenever we are in TN for Christmas and then we went shopping at Ann Taylor Loft, went to the Apple Cake Tea Room and had a lot of fun together.
Then we joined the boys (except for my Dad, who did not want to come) and tried to see Valkyrie. The only time it had not filled up at was 10:15 PM. So we left and went to McKay's Used bookstore, a family favorite and found some good deals. We made a stop at my Mom's friend house to make sure everything was okay since they were out of town at the time.
Then we went to get Marble Slab ice cream (which they had hardly any choices, they ran out of all the choclate flavors!) Robert treated my Mom and I to ice cream and to the movie!! He is so amazing! What a guy! Then we went to the movie and I loved it. It made me cry and I hated that I knew the ending because obviously it is history and we know that Adolf Hitler was not killed by assination, so all those brave individuals are killed in the end. Heart breaking is all I can say!

Christmas Day and Dinner

My bro and I hanging out!

Lindsay's cute outfit! I love her style; she does not even look pregnant!!

A little taste of the apple cider!

A pretty table made by my Mom, while we went and saw Marley and Me, after we went and to CVS and got candy and then went and looked at houses! It was so much fun!!! I loved the movie Marly and Me :)

We went and looked at homes around Farragut where we live in Tennessee! Doesn't it make you want to move here? A home in the neighborhood!

I LOVE this house :)
