Okay, so I am officially in love with a little baby named Cameron. Yes, he happens to be my nephew and yes I am bias but I think he is so handsome and perfect! I also love my niece Alyssa. I wish I could see her more often and build that relationship. But she will also get a blog post all to herself. This one is for Cameron.
Things I love and things I want to remember....
He smiles really big when he sees me! He thinks Jeff is so funny and laughs whenever Jeff is around! I love when he puts his hand on my shoulder when I am carrying him around. I love that when I feed him his bottle he stares into my eyes and we are communicating soul to soul.
I love how smart he is, its very entertaining. He is moving around a lot and I went in to check on him when he was in his crib and he had scooted himself in the corner and he looked up at me and just grinned! So adorable.
He does not do this anymore, but he used to get really impatient when he was hungry and it was comical to watch. He has an old soul I think, he is so good just being held and watching everyone. I love when he grabs my hair and just gently holds it. I love that he sleeps with his hands above his head it is adorable. He hates tummy time and he can roll over really well.
I got to spend a little one on one time with him and we were playing with puppets and he was laughing and mesmerized by the puppets. I put him up on his arms like Lindsay taught me and he rolled over and so I clapped and he laughed, it was very endearing. We did it a few times.
He loves his jumper thing and also loves this laptop that my Mom and Dad got him for Christmas. I love how he smells and his soft skin, Lindsay uses this Lavender baby lotion and it smells heavenly. Lindsay is so sweet to give him to me after she gives him a bath cause she knows I love to snuggle with him!
I love when you feed him a bottle, he will rest his hand on your arm. He used to put his leg on your arm when you are feeding him and it was really cute.
I love watching Lindsay and John interact with Cameron. Lindsay sings him the cutest songs and John talks so cute with him. I think they are the best parents and I am learning so much from them for when I am a parent one day (possibly 2 years from now). Little things like sleep patterns and the importance of scheduling. I just don't want to forget all these cute little things!I am so blessed that Lindsay and Amanda give me the opportunity to be an involved Aunt and build relationships with my nephew and niece. I love these children so much!
