2 options for glasses!!

Option 1

Kate Spade glasses are cute, the frame looks good on my face and the colors are neutral. I already have a pair of glasses that are Kate Spade and I love them! Which makes this a good choice.

Option 2

This is the back of the Anthony Marc Jacobs, I think you can see the color well, they are a unique green and oddly look really good on my face. In the picture below you can see they have a cool shape which are fitting for my face and I really like the color. I felt they looked really good on me. They are also cheaper, I would be paying around $266 dollars for these ones. That is because of my prescription, I have to get the thinner lenses and pay extra for many different things. This is even with my discount from my vision insurance. The glasses would total around $800 dollars if I did not have insurance! Granted, I think when you are forced to go where you insurance is they tend to charge you more.

I visited the eye doctor and found out my left eye has slightly changed and it gives me a good reason to purchase new glasses. My right eye compensates a lot for my left eye. Dr. Cooperman saw me instead of my normal eye doctor because she just had a baby! I loved getting to probe him for questions. Out of all the doctor professions, I am most interested in being an eye doctor.

Lets think about some of the benefits:

1. Most people are happy when they see you
2. No needles involved normally
3. You hardly have to tell someone bad news
5. You get paid a lot
6. You get to look into the eye and see the eyeball in all its fascinating movement and elements
7. Your not dealing with blood
8. I also would love the fact you can determine your own hours, meet new people
So your job is to tell me which glasses you like the most, I would post the pictures of me modeling it, but they turned out bad and I would rather not expose how I looked that day since I was tired when I took the pictures! Excuse my vanity in this regard!

FISH counselor Event! We had so much fun!!!

Here are the girls I sat with and they became my team! The girl I am sitting with (Shila), is someone I have worked with about a year ago and we are good friends. I know she is beautiful (she once modeled)! The other girls work in Ontario. Shelly is closest to the camera and is pregnant and will be married in September. The girl next to her is Tina, she took my place as an enrollment counselor.Shonna is at the end and she is also enrollment at UOP in Ontario!
Tina, holding up our FISH philosophy book!

One of the plates we got and our play dough to create a fish mascot!
This was Shonna's fish! So creative, I had to get a picture of it!

About a year ago, I was what we call a FISH counselor at work. This typically means you promote fun in the work place, display a positive attitude, make people's day, plan fun activities and get the different employees involved and happy. I loved my time as a Fish Counselor. So they had a lunch and training for old counselors and new ones to share ideas and be honored! I received a gift certificate worth $25 to order something on the company website. I ordered a heart jewelry set; it is really cute and silver! We had fun playing at Dave and Busters, ate delicious food, met new work friends and played with play dough and did a bunch of group activities. I had the best team and I met the girl who replaced me as an enrollment counselor! She is a sweetheart and I am glad she was hired by my old manager.
I love so many of the people I work with and I love so many of my students! If you asked me a year ago if I liked my job, I would have laughed and said No! But, after they reduced my student load from over 600 students to 260, I would say I enjoy my job a lot more and find pleasure in helping my students be successful!

Maggiano's in Costa Mesa

For work we were blessed to be fed since we are working on keeping our students into school. Summer makes everyone want a break and so it has been challenging to get people to stay in school. We got to order in from an Italian restaurant. I wanted shrimp and so that is what I ordered with a whole wheat pasta and a chopped salad! I ate the tomatoes and was okay and so I was happy to once again have that treat! The best part was the meal was covered by the manager and director overseeing the finance team!

Colbie Caillat, the music is worth buying!

This has fast become my favorite CD as of late! Some of my favorite songs are: Battle, Oxygen, Bubbly, Realize, Feelings Show, Midnight Bottle. You know it is good when I listen to it over and over again for a week at work!

THE HOST!!!

The Host was such a surprise and I recommend everyone reading it because it holds your attention and you will have another male character to fall in love with! Which I will not mention. I actually read this weeks ago, but am finally getting around to posting it! I love the concept of the book and I love thinking my spirit as hosting the body I am. There are so many elements in this book that make you pause and think, that it is truly beautiful! I am grateful I gave it a chance! It looked confusing and is confusing until you get past the first few chapters and then it makes more sense and is fascinating the more you get into it!
