I know I have become the worst blogger and in all honesty, when I do finally get a moment from all the busyness, I am ready to crash, like I feel right now, but my heart is aching to blog. I have so many things to blog about, I am most excited about this post because a very important little boy was born last week and he gave me the title of Aunt last week. My heart is full of joy and also longing to hold this angel in my arms. I have checked out flights to Jacksonville every month until December and it is all in the $400 dollar range. I am going to have to wait, what feels like forever to officially get to hold one of the cutest children ever! He weighed 8 pounds and a few ounces and was 20 inches long.
I loved hearing the excitement in John's voice as he described Cameron for the first time and then the next morning he called me to tell me more about my little nephew! It was too sweet for words and brought some tears to my eyes. I have not had a moment to talk to Lindsay yet, but I will be calling her soon to get her details! I thought about how much I want to be there for this baby, all his life, I want to be the kind of Aunt my Aunt Kath has been to me all growing up. I am brainstorming ways I can be close to him and my soon to be niece (November, Robert's baby). I bought some of their Christmas presents today. If you have any suggestions, send them my way.
On another note, I have felt like a terrible friend lately, because I have a long list of friends I want to call and it seems lately I can only fit my parents and brothers into my spare time. I struggle because when I am by myself, I really need that time to catch up on all the things I ignore when Jeff and I are together. I am also going back to school on the 21st to finish that HRM Certificate I started back in October and only took one class. I have enjoyed the 4.0 GPA, (it was only one class! LOL) as I have put off these last four classes.
I am trying to figure out how to balance everything out in my life, I am not doing the best job right now, but I will get better, so hang on with me. The sad part is I had tried really hard to remember birthdays last month (there was 8-9 birthdays for me to remember) and I had it set in my google calender. But because my work was so crazy last month and I lost track of what day it was, I managed to miss some very important birthdays since I did not check my calendar. So here is a shout out too all my family and friends for the past few months:
Brendon: I can't believe you are 16! I am so impressed with you and I just love you! I enjoy when we get to actually spend time together! Thanks for being such a great cousin to me! Love you, Em
David! You are so wonderful, I never fully realized how great you are (because of our age difference growing up), until I went to the Vegas trip with you and Kendra and got to talk more on the car ride back home and since then. I just am so glad you are my cousin and that I live in CA so we get to spend time together! Jeff and I are excited to go camping with you guys sometime!

Lindsay! My dear sister-in-law; I know the Lord loved me when he sent me you to be my sister-in-law. You are such a wonderful friend to me, I love spending time with you and it is always so fun when we do catch up on the phone. I am glad you are a part of our family and I can't think of a more perfect person to raise Cameron. You will be a dedicated, loving Mother, because of the spirit you have and the person you are.
Kendra! I love how you always try to support causes and you inspire me to do the same. I also appreciate that you are so loving and supporting in the things I do and I love when I get time with you. Your positive comments on my blog have always meant so much to me.
Auntie! My Auntie is so talented, she can make so many cool things and she is an amazing cook. I love being at her home and having her in my life!
Wendy! (I actually managed a call, but had to leave a message). I love how dedicated you are to your girls and to Bryan and your role as a mother. I have enjoyed many of our past conversations and I am glad we are cousins and that I have you in my life.
Happy Birthday to my Jeff! His post is coming soon :)
Happy Birthday Katie (My cousin!) I love you so much and I am glad that we grew up together; Words can not express how much love I have for you and how much I desire to spend time with you whenever we can see each other. I always feel your love for me and I feel lucky to have you for my "older sister."
Tara Stephens! I adore you and love you, I am so glad that we are engaged at the same time. You have helped me so many times in my life and I am blessed for having you as a friend. Thanks for staying consistent in our friendship and texting me all the time and checking in with me. Even though we will not be sister-in-laws like we once thought, we will be friends for life and sisters in the gospel, which is perfect. I am so excited for you to meet Jeff! You have always been an angel to me! Thanks for that!

Bryan! Happy Birthday, All during my childhood, I adored you (still do) and have always appreciated the time you took to spend with me growing up. You are such a dedicated Dad to your girls and I have always admired that about you. You are such a fun loving Dad! I hope your birthday was special!
Josh! My dear cousin! I am so glad you are alive on this earth and that I have you for my cousin. We always have such a great time together, all the discussions on our differing beliefs and the things we are alike on. I love that. I pray that this year gives you some peace and joy, I think you need that! With all that you have been through with all your suffering, etc... We will catch up soon! My other GG fan! Love that about you :)
Cameron, My dear nephew, so glad you are finally born. My arms are aching to hold you and I am so excited to see you and get to know your personality. I look forward to a lifetime and an eternity to being your Aunt! I feel blessed to have you in my life. I love you so much already!!!
Tara Nielson! My dear friend, I have so much love for you and you mean so much to me, I think about you all the time and am always telling Jeff all the fun things we have done. You were meant to be my close friend for forever, I felt it the minute we met all those years ago and it has proven true. I always can't wait to see you and be with you when we can. Thanks for being a great friend.
