Ice Cream and Edmondston-Alston House

This place has amazing ice cream, I had the Oreo and dark chocolate, low-fat vanilla and cookie dough ice cream.

My Mom and I on the porch! This is one of my favorite experiences; because I loved imagining the parties they must of had and the library with its vast amount of books. I loved the dinning room and hearing the history of the people and the house. It was very real to me and in my imagination! I also had fun pretending I was really in Europe where Mr. and Mrs. Darcy lived! I wish I could have shown you pictures within the house but they were not allowed!

Game Time!! Please play :)

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

And then there is a delay...

So as we were driving on our way to go to Charleston, we were on a curvy road and a little outside Tennessee and in North Carolina, when we heard a lot of noise and immediately my Dad moved over to the shoulder. Where it was discovered that we had a blown out tire. We called Triple A and they were on there way when the state offered assistance. This guy went above and beyond with his job. he waited the four hours with us to make sure we were safe, he offered his friends tool, which gave us the ability to get the tire off. So I decided to fill my time taking pictures since sitting in a car for five hours is not as fun as you might imagine.

My Mom is very sweet to give up the front seat so I would not get car sick! She is the most giving and generous person I know. She is also one of my best friends so it was nice spending my company with her!

My Dad talking to triple A, and the kind man who helped us!

While we were sitting in the car, I was anxious to get to a bathroom, when we finally were able to get to gas station, this is what I found! I thought it was so funny! I had two options... As a note this bathroom smelled so bad!

At least the scenery was beautiful!

A visit with Faith!

To start the documentation of my journey to Tennessee and Charleston, SC, I thought I would break down the trip so you can feel like you travelled with me! I do apologize for not posting it sooner, but I have been really busy since I have gotten back. It started when I flew into Nashville, TN. On the way we stopped by my friend Faith's house and spent time with her and the boys! I love spending time with Faith and she is such a great mom to her two boys! She is also having a child on the way!

The townhouse we stayed in...

We are just missing the room, John and Linds stayed in!
