Emma Turned TWO!!!

Jeff and I are seriously contemplating  moving to Tennessee, when we were there, I just felt good about it and I felt fine leaving our house. Then I get home and I see our home and I love it and I have to get brave all over again, but I do want Jeff to experience going to UT and I had a great feeling when we were on the campus, it just felt right. Big decisions are always a little frightening because there is so much at stake. I just have to think, where do we want to end up in the long run and that makes it easier.

Emma turned TWO! I am so amazed at how fast time goes by, her party was a big hit and she still talks about it daily. She loved everything about it and that means a lot to me, I spent so much time on it and stressed Jeff out a bit because of it, but we both agree it was worth it!Everyone who came made us feel so loved and she looked beautiful in her little birthday outfit. Many times as a Mom, I sit back in awe of the little girl Heavenly Father blessed me with and my heart aches with a heaviness to think of all the Mom's who have suffered the loss of their children, especially recently.

Here are some highlighted photos from her party.

She had TWO parties! One for the toddlers in the morning and we had 11 children there including two babies, plus parents. Then we celebrated that night with many friends and family who always make Emma feel loved all year round. I could not have asked for sweeter children to attend church with, they always make Emma happy on Sunday. Two weeks ago, she had five kids (all different ages) by her side running all over the church with her, it made my heart happy to see her engaged and loving being with her friends. I pray she always makes friends this easily, especially the right friends like she has now!

This is her gift bag, each child received one. Girls got their own Minnie Bow, Nail Polish, chapstick, bracelet, Emma's favorite candy (M&M's, Sour Patch Kids, Sucker and Fruit Snacks), and stickers  . Boys got a bow tie, stickers, a Mickey spin top and all the same candy. Lindsay, told me my nephew Cameron was thrilled with his goody bag, he was sick and unable to come to the party and was excited when she told him I gave it to him. That boy melts my heart.

Emma's Minnie Cupcakes! So in love with how it turned out!

One of two centerpieces

Minnie and Daisy came to her party and Emma LOVED going and standing by them!

I LOVE her birthday outfit, Jeff let me splurge on buying her this cute outfit, doesn't she look like an angel!

So we had balloons fall when they got to the Dance party. We did the entire show, they had Mousekatools (I made the cutest toodles) to help them get to the dance party, along the way they fished, made Mickey puppets, colored and then danced to the hot dog song! It was so much fun and Emma was enthralled. When her cousin Alyssa showed up, I think Emma was in heaven. She adores Alyssa and they had so much fun together, even after the party. Watching them reminds me of all the fun I had with my AWESOME cousin Katie!! Love you Katie!!!

The beautiful ceiling my husband created for me, this is using plastic tableclothes, cheap, but stunning!

My Cupcake Tower

So here is the desert spread, I made Pluto Sticks (Chocolate dipped sticks), A cake that Emma adored, (though I wish I had better decorating skills), Emma still talks about it so that makes everything awesome!

I made her several posters and this is one of them, the best part is I can use it for other birthdays! Yea!!!
For more pictures you will have to go to my Facebook page. I have to many pictures for this blog to handle. I hand colored for weeks several pictures of Minnie and her pals, and decorated around the room with them. When I brought home the flowers, Emma asked, "Are those for me Mommy?" When I told her they were, she lit up! It was so endearing. I am so blessed to have my angel with us and she makes everyday special!
