I was seriously so blessed on this day. It started early and Darlene and Brandi came over and helped me load up clothes and fragiles and we dropped it off at my apartment. We then headed over to Uhaul, where it turns out I went to the wrong one! But it worked out, we were just late meeting everyone back at my old house. Darlene was amazing and drove the moving van for me, because I am not quite there yet on driving one. The size of it is too nerve racking! I was floored when I showed up because there were like 12 people from the ward and it was loaded up so quickly and then everyone drove over to my place and we unload so quickly! I felt so incredibly thankful to have so many volunteers come and help me.
That just shows what a great ward I am in currently. After returning the Uhaul, the minute I got back (everyone had left at this point). It was about 1:30 pm and the next crew came in to help. My cousins, Kendra, Katie and Aunt Kath! Also Camie, Kaitlyn and Clarie were there to make it fun! They played and we worked at unpacking boxes and decorating! I was beyond grateful again to have their help and expertise there. It hit me when they were there how exiting this all was and to have them come visit meant so much to me. It felt like home to me, but it is my home which is so cool.
So when they left, I was sad, but then my friend Haylie came over and helped me some more. We ran errands and continued to unpack stuff. She is such a great friend is all I can say. We did a lot together! That sums up moving day. The first night was a little interesting, living on ones own sure is different, it was so quiet. But I am proud to say that I did not end up needing my friend Caralee's offer to stay with me that first night! So this is a thanks to all the countless individuals who sacrificed time and effort to help me with my move! I really could have not done it without them!
