Friday- OC Fair
I went to the fair with my friend Joseph Johnson and we had fun going on various rides from the kind that turn you upside down to a sky lift. We went on the Ski Lift a couple of times and that was my favorite ride and we rode it about three times. We shared a funnel cake and cinnamon roll and looked at various artwork, watched them make new toys at a demonstration. Went on the Ferris Wheel and a ride called the G Force. It basically spins so fast that you are glued to the machine and can hardly move and this thing you are glued too moves up and down. The last ride we went on gave both of us a headache and we had to sit down a little bit because of the nausea kicking in (at least on my part). It was a wonderful day and a lot of fun. I was exhausted after walking around 8 hours that I crashed when I got home.
Saturday
I describe Saturday as pretty wonderful. I love spending time with Heidi and Eric. They are visiting from Idaho and so we met up in Riverside and went to the UC-Riverside Botanical Gardens. There were not really flowers but a lot of trees and even a jungle. There was a lot of bamboo and I am sad because I left my camera in the car and it was so hot that I did not feel like going and getting it! I managed to get one picture of Heidi later in the day. We saw a family of turtles, it was adorable in the lake and then we had a picnic and when I was looking up I saw this cute little baby bird and it felt so wonderful to just sit and talk with Heidi and share stories.
After the gardens we went back to Eric's parent’s house and played Nintendo WiFi, I think this is what it is called. But I got to design my own person and then we played Tennis, Bowling, and baseball. I stunk at the baseball game. Bowling I scored a 161! I was thrilled and I landed first place in this bowling game. In Tennis Heidi and I played against Eric, but he beat us! Then Heidi and I spent awhile looking at all their pictures from the past year. It was just so nice to spend time with such a cute couple.
