I've got some explain' to do! :)

So I know all of you who read my blog, know that Jeff and I had ended things last September and we did. During that time we remained friends, dated others and moved on. In the meantime, Jeff got a really great job in Dallas, TX, got some things he needed to do done and I also progressed in my job and we moved forward.

About a week ago, he was here visiting family and stopped by so we could talk about what happened and we ended up spending time working through it all and cleared up some misunderstandings. Then he left and I went to my cousins that weekend. When I was discussing some of the thoughts with them on Jeff's visit. My cousin Dale basically suggested that maybe the answer that I received back in September was right because of the timing and some things needed to be in order so that we could be together now. As I thought about it, I have to say I agree because the conversations Jeff and I have had in the last week have left me feeling at peace and happy.

Things are really different and we have been able to spend a lot time talking and we feel closer than ever. We are completely taking our time in dating. But I wanted to explain since we changed our statuses on Facebook and are posting pictures. I am really happy and care for Jeff tremondously. I will be going to Texas in July to spend time with him and his family for about 11 days and during that time will be heading to Jacksonville to visit my family and little James Cameron, my new nephew when he is born. So we are taking our time and just enjoying each other's company. I feel good about this and I know that everything happens for a reason. So that is my update!
