General Relief Society Broadcast

Right after eating there we went to the is Mexican restaurant to eat with Caralee's work and it was a lot of fun! But we were both so full we hardly ate anything on our plates! I felt so sick and I could not wait to go home and watch a movie. We watched two movies that night after: The Dance, its a church movie and we both were disappointed with it. The second one was Nancy Drew Movie. It was fun!

I loved the atmosphere at this place it was really fun!

Fall For Dance

Part One:

Jen is my new friend in my new ward! We just found out that she is my visiting teacher! I was so excited :) She is one of the best people I know. She is also from the South, so right away we understand each other and its nice to know she misses the South like I do. We had such a great time. After the performance we got chocolate ice cream with chunks of chocolate chip cookie dough it was so yummy!

I already just love Jen, I can tell we are going to be great friends. She just got home from her mission and is working for a big accounting firm in technical support. She had graduated from BYU before her mission. I am so glad she moved here and I get her as a friend. My favorite dance was:

"Spanish Dance (1973) is a work for five women, set to Bob Dylan's rendition of "Early Morning Rain" by Gordon Lightfoot." It was awesome the way they came together! I loved it :)

Part Two

Saturday night, my friend Darlene, also from my new ward went with me to the second performance. We have actually known each other for awhile. I met Darlene through my friend Ashley. They had been roommates (Darlene used to live in the room I lived in when I was in Fountain Valley). So she has come to my Gilmore Girls party (also a big fan). She is one down to earth person and someone who could be deemed, "salt of the earth". I am not kidding, I think the world of Darlene. It was fun to get to know her better. This night was awesome and I enjoyed the performances more this night then the night before.

My favorite dances was:

I will admit that I found the men's chests and backs amazing to look at, that is one of my biggest attractions on guys is their backs and chests! Check out the link to see what I am talking about.

Pink and Brown Wedding Reception

What could be better than an intimate wedding reception in the backyard of your home? Amy's wedding reception was so special! I loved how she did her centerpieces with chocolates and other candy jars were everywhere. The food was amazing and her cake was incredible and gave me wonderful ideas for the future. They played a fun game involving the newlyweds getting asked questions about their marriage. For example, Who is messier, Bobby or Amy? Then they had to hold up their names. Their back was against the other. I also loved how all her neices and newphews were dressed up matching. They were so adorable to look at. Each bridesmaid had a beautiful dress that looked great on them, but all matched with the same color.

Amy and Bobby were sealed in the Newport Beach Temple and I got invited to go. It was such an honor and made me feel so special to be invited. I love Amy and I meet Bobby years ago when we were in the Corona ward together. Amy is such an amazing woman and I am so happy for her to have found her one and only.

On Saturday, I tagged along on my Aunt and Uncle's date! We went to Polly's for dinner, they were so sweet and treated me. My Aunt and I had a really good small taco salad. After we headed over to Katie and Dale's new house. They were so great to see. Katie was also hurt and so we enjoyed being uncomfortable together. Kaitlyn was adorable she kept saying "Emmie hurt" softly. Then she would gently touch my leg. She took me on a tour of the house and wanted me to hold her. That was the hardest part for me. I wanted to just hold her and pick her up and carry her around and I could not! Talk about torture!! They gave me beautiful flowers because of my injury! Thank you Katie for the beautiful bouquet! I love the daises! I wish I had gotten a picture to show you all how beautiful they were!

Then on Sunday, we went up to Kendra and Dave's house for church there and it was really fun getting to go to church with the kids. They were fascinated by my bruising on my leg. Cammie asked me if she could look at it twice! I loved Ben's expression it was classic. The girls started to dance after church was over and it was so cute so that is what this video is about:

Then we went back home and had dinner and Aunt Kath and I did what we love most, we watched movies together. They were really moving. One was a Hallmark movie about two sisters who did not know each other existed. Then we watched a Christmas movie that made me cry it was so touching. Its about this little boy who loves his sister and she is obsessed with Angels and she is also really physically sick. They did not have hardly any money and he meets two friends in this new town selling newspapers and they all become friends. The boys decide to look for an angel doll for his sister and they search everywhere for an Angel doll. They finally make one out of a regular doll and before he can give it to her she dies on Christmas Eve and never got to see the doll. Sad right!

So anyways, after the sister dies his friend leaves town and he never hears from him again. He ends up getting this doll years later because the friend had never picked it up. Then he is visiting the children's hospital and he sees angel dolls everywhere and he knows its from his long lost friend who donates them every year for any child who wants one. It was just really touching to see these boys love this little girl so much and to have them willing to do anything to help her was inspirational. I hope I raise my sons and daughters to be that caring and compassionate on their own and without prodding.

It was a great weekend!

So, I just thought I should let you all know that I am no longer dating Jeff. I had to end the relationship, not because Jeff was not wonderful to me, it was in fact the opposite. We were moving in the direction of getting married in the Spring and so I had been praying for an answer and I finally got one on Thursday and it was not what I was expecting. The answer was No and it was very clear to me that it was the answer.

I don't know all things, but I do know when you pray for guidance and Heavenly Father gives it to you; its important to act on those promptings! Jeff was super supportive and wanted me to do what the Lord had counseled me. What a great man if you ask me! He treated me like gold and I learned so many wonderful things from him. I am grateful for the time I spent dating him and what he taught me. Life is surprising, I pray the Lord blesses Jeff in all his endeavors he deserves every ounce of happiness.

I wish every woman could be adored the way he adored me. I now have a higher standard for the next man I date! I do find it very funny that the minute I make it public and tell everyone about him, I get my answer that we are not right for one another. Its one of those crazy things about life. I just want to make sure it is crystal clear that everyone knows it has nothing to do with Jeff not being an amazing person, and that I am sad to see it end.
